You may have heard that the county of Maui enacted a ban on short term vacation rentals in apartment zoned areas of Maui.

It’s important to note that the Sands of Kahana, and our unit there, is in a Hotel designated zone and not subject to any short-term rental ban. For anyone considering Hale Honu, we are, and will continue to be, a fully legal and permitted short term vacation rental property, not subject to this proposed legislation.
